My Ideal Traveling > Blog > It’s time to travel again!

Finally, the trip I’ve been planning for months has arrived. India, which I have been missing since 2019. Two years of forced stop and then the time to get everything back on track, and finally it’s time to pack up and set off to discover the country. I chose Rajasthan. A 10-day itinerary that I will do to prepare for the next year-end yoga trip to Rajasthan. An international group who will do a yoga retreat in Rajasthan to discover the splendors of this magical land.

A journey to the heart of legendary India to discover the wonders of Rajasthan, its mighty
fortresses and its palaces of the maharajas, stroll through its colorful bazaars with inebriating fragrances. For an unforgettable encounter with the land of princes. An excellent introduction to a first trip to India, Rajasthan, the princely land of 1001 nights, is full of extravagant imperial cities and has an extraordinary traditional life. Delhi, Jaipur and Agra, a trio of mythical cities, which invite us to have a total Indian experience, fascinating and colourful. An essential and complete journey to discover one of the most emblematic regions of India: Delhi- Udaipur- Jodhpur- Jaipur- Agra.

India is unique, colorful and very different from any other country we may have visited. It is a real educational insight into different lifestyles and ancient cultures and at the same time a real “perfect organized chaos”. In my opinion, to discover the real India you have to enter on tiptoe, without prejudice, because to really know it, to know the heart of the Indians, a thousand trips would be necessary.

My journey will continue to South India, Kerala, a particularly beloved destination, the Gods own Country, where I will continue my relentless search for authentic Ayurvedic centers for high quality Ayurvedic treatments. Direct contact with the people of each Ayurvedic centers, personally experiencing Ayurvedic cures, are our strength. Especially for those approaching an Ayurvedic retreat for the first time, it is difficult to orient yourself in the myriad of existing Ayurveda centres. The selection of a shortlist of Ayurveda centers that can satisfy the most diverse needs is our task.

I will visit Thekkady and its nature reserves, return to the city of Cochin, cross the backwaters of Alappuzha, the most magical in Kerala and finish with an Ayurveda cure in an Ayurveda center seaside. For a moment of relaxation and deep inner regeneration.

When I wil be back I will tell you about my adventures!

Monica Bevacqua, My Ideal Traveling founder

“I have often found myself with a goodbye to make, a suitcase to prepare, a radical change to deal with and a new dimension to find. Managing changes in work, life and prospects have led me to my most authentic metamorphosis: to make a profession of the travel experience.

I  wanted to offer a choice of wellbeing paths, itineraries as evolutionary routes, to relax, disconnect the mind, but above all to learn to eat properly, to get moving, and to feel the value and importance of being at one with nature. Traveling is not only advancing, or embarking on a journey, it’s also a way to reach one’s center and direct oneself towards the other, diversity. This is where our true inner wealth is born“.
