An intimate and quiet Ayurvedic center, the perfect place to stay for a peaceful Ayurvedic retreat. Nestled in greenery, the Meiveda Ayurvedic center overlooks a long pristine beach, perfect for leisurely walks and enjoying breathtaking sunsets. But above all, Meiveda offers authentic Ayurvedic treatments, whether for those seeking deep relaxation and rejuvenation or those wishing to undergo specific Ayurvedic therapies. A Ayurvedic retreat with only twenty rooms, allowing for treatments to be received in tranquility and always with careful attention.
Every moment spent at Meiveda is an invitation to profound healing, where Ayurvedic treatments become a nurturing embrace for the body, mind, and soul.
Experienced Ayurvedic doctors and yoga masters are available to delicately guide each individual along their own journey to wellness. Each Ayurvedic program is personalized, carefully crafted to meet individual needs, following a thorough consultation taking into account physical, mental, and emotional states. But Meiveda is more than just an Ayurvedic center. It is a place where nature and beauty blend, where long walks on the pristine beach become silent meditations, and where breathtaking sunsets transform into promises of a new day filled with joy and renewal.
Panchakarma
With special attention to prevention and natural healing, Panchakarma is one of the most commonly used healing methods for overall physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, as prescribed by Ayurveda. Literally meaning “five actions,” completing the Panchakarma Ayurvedic program eliminates toxic elements from the body resulting from an unhealthy lifestyle. Panchakarma purifies the body tissues at a very deep level and includes daily Ayurvedic massages and treatments, as prescribed by the Ayurvedic doctor. Depending on individual bodily imbalances and Ayurvedic constitution types, Panchakarma is administered by trained therapists following a defined sequence.
At Meiveda, yoga is given utmost importance. It is practiced in the Yoga Center located near the beach, an ideal sanctuary to relax in the shade and channel inner energy in the morning and evening.
According to Ayurveda, a balanced diet is key to achieving profound well-being. In line with this tradition, meals are prepared to balance the three doshas without compromising taste. A vegetarian buffet is always available for those not on specific diets.
Learn Ayurveda
From May to September, the Meiveda Ayurvedic center also offers the opportunity to learn the basics of Ayurveda through a training program or to learn Ayurvedic treatment techniques for those who already have basic training. Training is provided on Ayurvedic treatments such as Abhyanga (oil massage), Udvartana (powder massage), Kizhi (pouch massage), Nasya, Sirodhara, Snehavasthi, Kavasthi, and Pizhichal.
